Mis áreas de interés son la Evolución Humana, Paleoantropología, Antropología Dental y la Morfología funcional. El objetivo principal de mi línea de investigación es entender los mecanismos y procesos microevolutivos detrás de la evolución de la dieta de los seres humanos pasados y actuales. Analizo material óseo y dental de homínidos, y además utilizo modelos animales con el fin de estudiar de manera experimental o a través de observaciones en el campo la interacción entre los alimentos, los movimientos mandibulares y las variaciones morfológicas del aparato masticatorio.
